Jonathan LeBlanc scored two goals to lead the Louis-J.-Robichaud Patriotes to a 4-3 win against the Moncton High Purple Knights and the DNA Swag Cup title. Cédric LeBlanc and Yanic LeBlanc also got goals for the Patriotes. Brenden Rose with two and Austin Black replied for the Purple Knights. The winning goaltender, Sophie Cormier, face 35 shots while Moncton High’s Aidan Rose had 42 shots against him.
In the 7th place game, Jack Arsenault scored at 3:37 of overtime for a Tantramar Titans victory over the Bernice MacNaughton Highlanders by a 4-3 score. Titans’ Nelson Hicks, with his second goal of the game, had tied the score at 19:36 of the 3rd period to force the extra time. Connor Cadman got the team’s other goal. Highlanders goals came from Noah Lafferty, Patrick Mann, and Thomas Johnson. Titans’ goaltender, Noah Boyd, made 39 saves while Mason Branscombe, of Bernice MacNaughton, faced 26 shots.
