Cavaliers clinch spot for provincial championship

The Clément-Cormier Cavaliers have guaranteed themselves a spot at the NBIAA’s AAA provincial championship in Dieppe from March 21st to the 23rd. The Cavaliers defeated the L’Odyssée Olympiens 3-1 in the best of 5 league semi-finals. They were also the top ranked team in the regular season standings. In the other series, the Mathieu-Martin Matadors edged the Louis-J.-Robichaud Patriotes 3-2. The Matadors will now meet the ESN Rebelles in the best of 3 North-East Regionals. The series will begin in Beresford on March 12th and return to the UNIplex Centre on March 14th at 7:15pm for game #2.
The Tantramar Titans will meet the Miramichi Valley Pulamoo in the AA North-East Regionals best of 3 series that will begin on March 11th at 6:15pm at the Tantramar Civic Centre. The series moves to Miramichi on March 12th for game #2.
The Bernice MacNaughton Highlanders and the Harrison Trimble Trojans will battle in the DNA Swag Cup best of 3 final. The dates for those games have yet to be determined. In the semi-finals, the Highlanders defeated the Riverview High Royals while the Trojans eliminated the Moncton High Purple Knights.
