A goal by Joshua Boudreau in the thirteenth round of the shootout gave the Mathieu-Martin Matadors a 2-1 victory over the Citadel Phoenix in the final of the Cheetah Challenge that was played during the last weekend in Bedford, NS. Alexandre Gagnon scored in regulation time while Alex McGrath guarded the net for the Matadors.
Mathieu-Martin came back from a two-goal deficit to edge the Bay View Sharks 3-2 in the semi-finals. Previously, they finished the preliminaries with 2 wins and a tie and then defeated the Millwood Knights in the Quarter-final game.
