Trojans wins provincial title

Drew Betts’ second goal of the game, 20 seconds into overtime, gave the Harrison Trimble Trojans a 4-3 victory over the St. Malachy’s Saints in the AAA provincial championship final this past weekend. Owen Shediac scored the other two goal for the Trojans while Alex Campbell (2), and Ben Rooney replied for the Saints. Annika Betts was the winning goaltender with Spencer Masson taking the loss. Harrison Trimble went undefeated during the tournament preliminary games winning against Sussex (6-0), Miramichi Valley (4-1), and St. Malachy’s (5-3).
